57th South Filmfare Awards scheduled to be hosted on August 7. Actress Thamannah was invited to inaugurate the press conference of marking the event.
Filmfare Awards South is the South Indian segment of the annual Filmfare Awards, and are given for films in Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam and Kannada language films from India. They are given annually to honour the best talents and provide encouragement and incentive to the South Indian film industry.
The Idea Filmfare South Awards are back! And at the press conference, Filmfare and Idea announced the much awaited Nominees for the best in South Indian cinema for 2009.
The awards are brought to you jointly by Worldwide Media Pvt Ltd (Publishers of Filmfare) and Ideal Cellular – an association which is now in its second year.
